About Us

H Bar has been in my family for five generations and represents the lower half of the ZH Cattle brand. I spent much of my childhood working on the ranch and raising the H Bar herd. In 2020, I took the next step and purchased artificially inseminated Red Angus heifers—this was the beginning of ZH Cattle. Growing up around ranching companies, I noticed how they created hats for their own brands, and I always thought that was cool.

For the first ZH Cattle hats, I started small—just 12 basic hats, which I gave to close friends and family. The response was overwhelming. People loved the simplicity and how much the hats resembled a classic "cattleman hat." I ran out quickly, and not everyone who wanted one got one. That was the first moment I realized this could be something bigger.

I made another batch of 12 and sold them through Snapchat—they sold out almost instantly. By 2023, I launched my website and Instagram. Since then, we've expanded beyond just a cattle brand, growing through concerts, boat parties, skeet shoots, team ropings, and more. What started as a simple idea has turned into something bigger than I ever imagined.
